Google Public Policy Blog: FCC announces plan to protect access to an open Internet

21 Sep

comicComic from the most excellent blog Geek and Poke.

Top 10 Underhyped Webapps, 2009 Edition – Webapps – Lifehacker

Today they bring us under hyped web apps.  10 in all, they cover time tracking, to phone calling, to charting and many more besides.

I’d give it a read if you have a few minutes and, like me, are always on the lookout for things to help you throughout your day.

Update: Unfortunately the one I was most excited about: Freckle is a little too steep for my few projects when my phone and a pad of paper does just as well.

Makeuseof has collected quite a few cheat sheets from around the web and posted it on their blog.  From MS Office to twitter, 14 sheets in all.  Worth a look if you or someone you know wouldn’t mind having quick reference sheets for their desk.
